My daughter and I fell in love with this wonderfully colorful, exuberent tale when she was but a wee child of two. Our love affair lasted through many evening reading sessions, curled together on the bed with her puffalumps and babydolls, until the book all but fell apart in her 8th year. She is sixteen now, and I find myself pulling out my card so we can have another copy in our home, for all the wonderful memories it holds for both of us. Bruce Degen truly dusted the pages with magic when he gave life to the boy and the bear in this fanciful book. If you share nothing else with your child, share this book. It makes everything else possible.

Just downloaded the new read and play version on our nook color yesterday. This book is such a cute read, and then add to that the beautiful illustrations - now slightly annimated - it's so wonderful! Our entire family has joy reading it. Great job, nook color creators! We love it.

This was one of my favorite books as a child. I received it as part of a book club and I remember sitting on the floor of my bedroom reading it and rereading it over and over again. I loved going through the pictures and finding the silly little things hidden in them and singing the words of the book. My mother saved it as I grew to hold onto for my future children. I now have a 2-year-old son who finds this book as equally enjoyable as I did. The creative rhymes make him giggle and laugh every time and he enjoys finding the silly little things in the pictures too. His favorite time to read it is at breakfast when we are eating berries ourselves.

Got this for my grandson even though he's only 4 mos. It does capture his attention. He listens to the sounds and I enjoy the time together. The Big kid in me loves the animation and I must confess, the drawing pad is my favorite. So, for all you grandparents, splurge. You won't regret it.

This is a great interactive book for your 3 - 6 year old. They will love it and while they are having fun they are learning. See how many berries you can catch...What goes quack?...Even a page to practice your drawing abilities. Well worth the price. It's a book. It's a game. It's a drawing board. It's a musical instrument.

Though I have read Jamberry hundreds of times, I am not bored of it. The words are fun to read and the illustrations are delightful! Our first copy drown in milk, and I am now purchasing the book a second time.

This was one of the first books I actually read to my daughter when she was 8 months old and she listen to it all the way through from day one. Today, she is 2 1/2 and it is still one of our favorites! I never get tired of reading it and she still hangs on every silly word. The illustrations are very entertaining as well. I just don't know why this isn't more talked about. It is up there with Goodnight Moon in my book and a lot better for the younger set than Runaway Rabbit which is really better for a little older child.

Great story, illustrations & animations. Only con is this is one of those ebooks with very quiet audio so you have to listen closely which is a challenge for the 2 yr old. The interactive games are a great feature. Overall we're happy with this.

Price is high, but well worth it - the colours are amazing on the Nook and the story is charming. One of our favourites so far!

I would have given it 5 stars if it was a few dollars cheaper. When I was littler I used to read this book all the time. I know the interactions added may cost more money but it shouldn't be 15 dollars altogether. I will definetely buy it again if there is a price deduction.

I discovered this book when i was reading to my baby in the womb. I fell in love with the book the first time i read it. Now 3 years later it is still my favorite book. I read it to my daughter every night. The illustrations are amazing. The cattails are marshmellows, the lilly pads are crackers. It is really neat to discover all of the things in the book and the colors are bright and attractive. Before i discovered this book i was a huge fan of Dr. Seuss. While i am still a fan this book has replaced his books as my favorites. I would recommend this childrens book to anyone looking for a fun book for any child.

Come along and sing the song of ¿Jamberry¿ in ¿Jamberryland.¿ A little boy befriends a dancing bear that is picking scores of berries in Berryland. The illustrations in this book are OUTSTANDING, sweet, and silly, beset with wit and surprises such as fruit tart flowers, butter-cookie lily pads, and bread vines to name a few. Visually stunning, as well as wonderfully rhythmic too, ¿Quickberry! Quackberry! Pick me a blackberry! Trainberry, Trackberry Clickerty-clackberry!¿ Terrific use of alliteration. This dynamic little board book will captivate your children, and don¿t be surprised if it charms you too. Indeed, ¿Jamberry¿ is one of the MOST imaginative books ever written for infants and young children! Birth and up.
