Overview

With notable nonbelievers such as Richard Dawkins, Sam Harris, and Christopher Hitchens featured prominently in the media, it is no surprise that many Christians wonder how best to answer the growing number of atheist arguments they encounter every day. 10 Answers for Atheists is a one-of-a-kind resource from respected Christian apologist Alex McFarland that looks closely at the philosophical assumptions at the root of atheism and agnosticism and exposes the logical, historical, and conceptual fallacies that perpetuate unbelief. Readers will find easy-to-understand charts and clear explanations of key beliefs, as well as trustworthy, biblical answers to the honest questions posed by atheists and agnostics. Every reader, no matter where he or she falls on the spectrum of belief, will hear a call to thoughtful engagement with the historic Christian faith.

The earlier reviewer didn't read the book. This book doesn't merely use the Bible to prove its position.

Those who read this with an open mind, whether they agree with it or not, will benefit from it. Those who are entrenched in a viewpoint like some of the reviewers below who don't appear to have even read the book, and who are not willing to even fairly consider another viewpoint, are essentially engaging in trolling, nothing more. It's unfair and disingenuous to leave negative reviews on books just because you have another opinion. You can have an opposite opinion, and still leave a just review.

I found this book to be pretty dry reading, and didn't include all that I needed it to. Plus it was hard to read in Nook format. The only fonts that you could use for the book were very small, and since I need reading glasses I found it difficult to read the small print.

I love the review with all the spelling errors. Wright for right? The person also obviously did not read the book. I found it to be a very useful tool especially in my talks with my atheist cousin.

How could he even try and wright a book that is so....... i dont even know. "How to have compation for nonbelievers" non believers should be having compatikn for believers and there lack of an opean mind to anything. Go to church and leave your brain at the door for proper washing, that is what religion preatches, not the truth.

Using the Bible to try and prove God exists is a circular argument that fails the most basic tenents of logic. This ridiculous book is a pathetic attempt to answer the real questions of atheists. And it fails miserably.
