30 Minute Seder lives up to its timing. It is not for any among the Orthodox. If you have a family mixed of complainers and those who wish a formal Seder, this offers a compromise. It is attractive on a Seder table. There is a respect for traditional views. The portions are open to multiple adjustments. Do look it over the first time you use it and plan how you will administer it in a Seder at your home. I bought a single copy to read through before I ordered a set to use at my table. It comfortably fit my extended family's mixture of personalities, levels of reverence (or lack thereof), and age range from infant to the eighties (the only age group not represented was the 50s). Each hosting a Seder must decide its applications. It worked for mine.

We used this Hagaddah for our seder this year and we did not like it. I was too commercial, there was even a sales plug for other products in the description of the items on the seder plate. We won't be using these again, next year I'll go back to the standard Hagaddah and just skip around to the "good" parts like we used to.

This book was excellent for our family. My daughter-in-law is not of the Jewish faith and I have a 2 1/2 year old grandson. The length of this book is perfect. It follows the correct order of a full Seder but with more clarity and includes the important parts. It was educational and inspiring for my family and helped make our Seder so enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this book.

We did not like this haggadah at all. Yes, it was short, but lacked any actual understanding of the point of the holiday...to tell the story in a specific order. It left our way to much and changed the order of the seder. The meal does not come after opening the door for Elijah and the 4th cup of wine. I feel like this was just a book to get through the seder and get to the meal. I get that it is a shortened service, but it should still hold up the principles of the holiday. We were very disappointed.

This short version of Haggadah was wonderful. In my interfaith family, they enjoyed the descriptions and the detailed explanation included with the stories and prayers. Good choice of the songs, too. We added a few songs to our seder as well.

Highly recommended-you must check it out. The family enjoyed it and everyone participated and we had a wonderful evening. The book told the story and was understandable to all.

We have been using it for years. Get everything nicely covered before the food has a chance to get ice cold.

Covering all the essentials, and nicely organized to provide a clear guide through the service. The authors have provided a great guide for newcomers and guests at a Seder, with enough illustrations and nicely arranged text and background to enable the leader to celebrate the Passover in a traditional manner and yet keep the participants involved.

My family-a mixed bunch gets together for Passover every year. Each year I try to find a haggadah that will keep the young children interested and sitting at the table and the adults not complaining that we misssed something. This version hits our family's spot! In addiditon to using this for our Sedar, I used it to help teach about the traditions of Passover to my 9 year old's class. I can not teach religion, but tradition. This was helpful to all. I will buy more next year so we can all have a copy!
