A Cowboy for Christmas based on 0 ratings. 1 reviews.
What a short, sweet but highly emotive read this turned out to be! Holly Adams has returned to her hometown for Christmas, two years after a rodeo accident killed her husband. She’ll be thirty on Christmas Eve but she has been going through the motions rather than living since her husband’s tragic death and has been given a to-do list to help her start living again. With advice from two older people in the local coffee shop, a bell to ring from Nick and meeting the man she kissed after first imbibing beer as a teenager, will the blizzard conditions which trap the two together help to defrost her heart and open her up to love and life again? With great characters, this short book packs in a lot of feel-good emotions. It is well written, making it so easy to empathise with Holly who is trying to overcome the grief of the last few years. Levi is so caring, considerate and has great intentions, though many of these succumb to temptation in the end! A great festive read that I highly recommend, I loved it! This is my honest review.
