Keri, and her niece Anna, have just lost her family due to a plane crash. To stabilize their derailed lives, Keri travels to New York with Anna to seek assistance from their closest family friend and relative. They meet Mark along the way and he makes them an attractive offer instead. Will Keri and Anna's needs be met, or will they leave the city more broken than when they started? *This is a Christian fiction filled with prayers and a little steam.

About the Author

Stephanie Humphrey is a writer, educator, entrepreneur, and trailblazer. She began her writing career in fourth grade English when she authored and illustrated her first book entitled, "The Case of The Missing Children and The Treasure". She created a character called the 'Fuzzypire' to carry the story. It is a book that Stephanie still has today and is thinking about publishing. Stephanie wrote a second book in fifth grade, but put writing down until college. Songs, poems, short stories and spoken word were penned.

Stephanie has many writings in notebooks that await completion, proofing, and/or editing. She loves the process of writing and the journey it takes her on as a wordsmith. She continues to learn and perfect her writing style with three books in her repertoire and three new projects on the way.
