About the Author

Stephanie Humphrey is a native of Jacksonville, NC. She wrote her first short story in fourth grade in ELA and a second book in fifth grade just for fun. It was then that she penned several songs, poems, short stories and spoken word. Stephanie is now the author of one poetry book, eight romance novels, and one vocals CD. Stephanie loves the process of writing and the journey it takes her on as a wordsmith. She hopes you enjoy laughing, crying, getting an attitude, finding forgiveness, and experiencing peace and joy as you read her books.

Determination: "to push forward no matter what the obstacles, roadblocks or detours may be to attempt to deter the intended progress or purpose; absolute assurance of one's course and moving forward in" -Stephanie Humphrey

Stephanie thoroughly enjoys the process of writing, allowing the words to unfold as my fingers dance over the computer keys or as her pen glides over the pages. She has learned in writing this short story that each character took on a life of their own. She states, "The twists and turns even surprised me and that was not easy." :- ) Enjoy this book and check out my other two! Please comment!

Stephanie writes fiction from a Biblical perspective, but is currently exploring the possibilities of creating nonfiction works. Stay Tuned!
