Overview

Best friends and sometimes lovers Edward "Mitch" Mitchell and Harry "Boy" Morgan have been in terrible jams before — their adventures of murder, mystery, and unstoppable sex have made The Back Passage and The Secret Tunnel international bestellers. In A Sticky End, Mitch must face the possibility that Boy is involved in the chain of events that led to the suicide of his own colleague and secret paramour, Frank Bartlett. To absolve Boy, Mitch races around London finding clues while bedding the many men eager to lend a hand — or more. The policemen, working class gigolos, steam room bathers, embezzlers, and blackmailers that Mitch comes across create a tasty mystery and satisfying erotic romp.

About the Author

James Lear is the nom de plume of a prolific and acclaimed novelist. As James Lear, he is the author of The Back Passage, The Secret Tunnel, Hot Valley, The Low Road, and The Palace of Varieties. He lives in London. Straight Up "This might make a nice change-of-pace for erotica fans and mystery lovers alike, so if you want a book that packs heat, grab this one." —Dallas Voice "It's exciting, compelling and a rip roaring read of a story. I'll definitely be reading more Dan Stagg mysteries." —The Romance Reviews "This dazzling, fast-paced, roller coaster of an adventure story does not disappoint. With plenty of scintillating twists and turns, smoldering sexcapades, and the provocative, darkly-humorous narrative of Dan Stagg at its wheel, this is action/adventure that takes you places. Deep into the dark, seedy underbelly of the human mind and then deeper, into the vulnerable, soft places of the human heart. Top all this off with a visceral and tender ending and you’ve got what I would call a hole-in-one winner, one that I can’t wait to read again and again." —Rainbow Book Reviews

This is the last book in the series which features Edward "Mitch"Mitchell {An American] and his best friend wiht benefits, "Boy" Morgan. They have been on 2 previous adventures together, solving murders and having some great sex. Even though Mitch has a lover, Vince, he just can't stay away from MORGAN....Mitch comes to visit Morgan for a weekend at his home in England, when he finds his friend in a state of panic. And this is how our story begins, with a body in the bathroom and Morgan arrested for murder. It is up to Mitch to dig deep to find the real murderer. The author has an uncanny knack of combining, comedy, mystery and graphic sex to make a fast paced page turner. I hope this is truly not the end of Mitch and his adventures, he is quite a character.
