Overview

Take a nostalgic journey back to the 1950s, when ten-year-old boys rode bicycles, carried rifles, went fishing and hunting and slept in tree houses during the summer.
Meet Loren Wells. Born in Oklahoma, he shares a lifetime of over 100 delightfully true and sometimes scary adventures involving a menagerie of animals, robbers and other events.
As an enterprising teen, Loren's many odd jobs include how he made money with his toes, raised snake food and what he did to earn the most-fun job of a lifetime at age 16.
A Young Corporal Wells survived a plane crash and met famous people while serving in the Army and stationed in Vietnam.
Like the vehicles he owned, and the one he created, Loren rolls through life, and along the way, he imparts his own special wisdom, wit and whimsy.

About the Author

Loren and Mary Wells met in 1998 during a trying time in both of their lives. Four years later, they married and continued to roll through the ups and downs of life together with love, laughter and a "one- day- at- a- time" philosophy.
Yet, it wasn't until after they married that Mary discovered her husband had a knack for storytelling. No, not made-up stories, but true memories experienced and written on his heart from the early days of boyhood and throughout a lifetime.
Loren, legally blind, never thought he would write a book. After all, his expertise as a salesman had been writing business proposals.
Mary loves to write Christian poetry, humor pieces, and creating personalized greetings in rhyme for any special occasion.
Loren went to be with the Lord on May 19, 2017
