Through the original movie the music of Mozart was brought to an entirely new group of people which, in turn, means more people have gotten the privilage of hearing the music of genius, it's not possible to listen to Cossi Fan Tutti or the Requiem and not be humbled before an absolute beauty

Beauty. Take Mozart at his best, in symphony, opera, and ensemble--add the wrenching drama that is played out (pardon the many puns) in Shaffer's script by way of a smattering of Mozart's contemporaries and what you achieve is a collection that edifies, soothes, and inspires. And, if nothing else, the Queen of the Night aria RULZ!!
