I really like how Gherman used Ansel Adam's photographs to illustrate this book about the amazing photographer. This book is considered a children's book but can definitely be used by anyone at any age. I believe that this book can easily inspire a young child into becoming a photographer themselves. This book can be used for all age levels. I think it would be particularly useful for children in older grades with access to a photography class. You can take cameras outside and have the children capture the beauty of the landscape where they live.

Beautiful book capturing the life of photographer Ansel Adams. While found in the "children's area," I found it very interesting for adults who love this artist. Read this before you visit Northern California. Gorgeous book for your coffee table. The author is a native of the area she writes about with great insight and senstivity. Excellent!
