Not the greatest, not the worst. I'll give it mediocre and that's fair for some young kids making their first album. See them live and you'll understand that they do have talent and energy. Record companies force their influence into early albums, so give them time to mature and develop before you listen to Mr/Mrs One Star on here. Clearly they worship at the the table of Pitchfork, which is a pretentious, hipster rag that knows nothing about music.....all they do is praise weirdo indie noise and mumble rappers.
i love them with all my being, they rejuvenate me.
I think Greta Van Fleet is amazing. After the rock bands of the 70s and 80s I thought good music was dead, but they show it's definitely not true - at least in their case. If you love Led Zeppelin, you're going to love Greta Van Fleet. While a few of their songs definitely are reminiscent of Zepp, you can tell they're also beginning to break out and find their own uniqueness in their sound quality and lyricism. For anyone who loves good music, you have to check them out. My advice: Black Smoke Rises from their first album From the Fires. Can't tell you how much I love them and how cool it is to have an incredible band like this in my generation. Plus I mean, Jimmy Page complimented them so come on. They've gotta be pretty damn good.
