New York Times bestseller!

Before the era of superheroes began-before the Batman spread his wings to protect the innocent and punish the evil-Gotham City's prodigal son, Bruce Wayne, had been missing for years. But this was exactly the cover of darkness Bruce needed. Patrolling Gotham's streets in a series of disguises, he began a career as a faceless vigilante.

The #1 New York Times bestselling creative team of Scott Snyder, Greg Capullo, Danny Miki and Rafael Albuquerque present an astonishing new vision of the Dark Knight's origin-and his first encounters with the Riddler, the Red Hood, and more-in Batman Vol. 4: Year Zero-Secret City. Collects issues #21-24.

This volume gives us a look at Bruce becoming the Batman in the New 52 but seems to be more of a set up for Dark City than anything.

The Dark Knight saga continues even after I thought to have 24 of them already, but in addition to those 24 issues (see full details about this in my Batman Incorporated Volume 2 customer review, but for a whole story of my customer review saga, look in Allegiant, the Lightning Thief, Yu-Gi-Oh Zexal Volume 3 and Frozen the Junior Novelization in addition to Batman Incorporated Volume 2) I also received hundreds of Nook Sample Versions of Batman and other DC Super Heroes (including the rest of the Justice League members). Now I no longer have these issues and titles because the 24 issues were donated to Goodwill and the rest of the DC Universe (and a hint of Marvel) were deleted as Nook Samples. Thus my Summer Reading Program also continues, but digitally though. Hopefully I won't be so addicted to Trading Cards (as mentioned in one of the customer reviews I've made) in the future because apparently I'm too old for them and it must end immediately. Date of Origin: June 29, 2014 (same day as this issue's arrival)
