Become part of the solution to your ulcerative colitis health challenges with our new success programme, now published as an ePub. Contained within 3 volumes: 'Beating Ulcerative Colitis - Your Own Ulcerative Colitis Success Programme for ePub', is part of a new range of health self-management programmes, written by and for sufferers of a range of chronic, or life limiting health conditions. Each programme is published specifically for the end user and their loved ones. Purchase also includes free updates for the life of the product, plus the ability by the user to submit suggestions for future editions. The aim of 'Movements' and our programmes, is to include those, who live with and overcome the challenges that their condition brings, in a global discussion on the optimum way to successfully live with a range of symptoms and manage their effect on daily life. Each programme contains three key elements and is designed to become the user's own personal programme for successful management of their IBD condition - especially when used in conjunction with our Success Workbook (available separately from the publisher - and contained within a separate ring binder). These are, 1 - The Programme, a collection of 200 + sections on living with ulcerative colitis - 2 - The Marketplace, ultimately covering, 'all partners in care', everyone supporting those living with ulcerative colitis today - 3 - The Journal, the author's own, frank, diary of life with ulcerative colitis and the process of treatment, surgery and convalescence. The available 'Workbook' also contains a selection of forms and other tools to support the user. 'Movements' aims to bring together everyone living with, and/or supporting, each of the chronic conditions covered.
One of our strap lines is - 'A Bridge Between Commerce and Care'. This programme is designed to run alongside work done by national and regional self help groups. 'Movements' applauds the excellent work done by these groups on a daily basis and aims to support these through our programme and other product sales. (The Marketplace in this first ePub edition primarily covers UK & some US companies - future editions will take a more international stance with your help). I look forward to you joining us on our collective journey.

About the Author

Keith Buckley lives in North Yorkshire but was born in Oldham, Lancashire.

Following a career working in building societies and banking he is the founder of a new publishing community called Movements (part of Sharp Edge Publishing).

With the strap line, 'community, concern and care through communication', Movements is encouraging sufferers of chronic conditions to support each other by sharing their experience of living successfully with their symptoms and daily challenges.

Movements is also bringing together all providers of products and services to this community, truly becoming 'a bridge between commerce and care'.

Together with illustrator Andrew Gordon, he is originating and publishing information and strategy based programmes covering a wide range of conditions.

Launched in 2014 - Movements 'Muffins' is the new imprint of Movements/Sharp Edge Publishing. It will further develop the Movements theme, making titles more accessible to a wider audience.

When not aiming for these lofty ideals he enjoys motorcycling, watching motor sport (especially F1 & sports car racing), spending time in Crete and trying to learn Greek!

Andrew Gordon is a world class illustrator - you can see his latest work in the book 'Wave the Flag and Blow the Whistle by Ronda Armitage
