Overview

Based in New York City, Mexicali Rose (“You can call me Mex”) Stone is above all a human being having a spiritual experience. She’s an intuitive investigator who solves her cases from the inside out. Guided by Spirit, her inner voice, she catches her culprit, and always learns something about herself.

U.S. passport and lipstick in her purse, Mex’s cases lead her in all directions: Tierra del Fuego, the Western Isles of Scotland, the Mafiosi underground of Japan, at home on Broadway and up the Hudson to her country home. On her travels, Mex manages to fall in (and out) of love with a number of gifted women from whom she learns and with whom she grows spiritually.

Brigadoon Moon sends Mex to the Western Isles of Scotland, near the Callanish Stone Circle, where her old friend Waverley King is conducting a production of Brigadoon. Mex tangles with the local aristocrat who harbors a secret identity and who is obscuring a triple murder by using the centuries-old battle between the witches and the Druids as a diversion. Mex receives her own Druid initiation in the process. On the home front, frustrated by her sweetheart’s lack of attention, she ends her relationship with Veronica. She then proceeds to fall in love with Waverley, who is married ... and whose husband approves of the new arrangement.

Snippets of truths - such as 'away to find truths thru facts vs seeking facts to find a truth' Full o info about Druids, Pagans, Witches, & Scotland. Describes well how Spirit works - by not providing direct answers.
