It was entertaining to read. Full of logical, familiar stress relievers that we have all hard before; but Sarah presents them in new funny and refreshing ways. She can make you laugh through a melt down.

I like the author's tips and humor. Not sure if my anxiety will improve, but her way of explaining how to deal with stressful issues was funny. I don't care for her political views peppered into this book. Her criticizing others throughout the book was unnecessary..

Thanks to Netgalley for this ARC in exchange for an honest review. I didn't think there could be a self help book better than The Life Changing Magic of not giving a F.... but I believe Calm the F Down will be even more life changing for me. As I've been reading this book I've been putting the principles into practice and it has literally been life changing. I am a very anxious/stressed out person that should buy stock in ostriching (read the book to find out what I'm talking about), and this book gave me an easy way to deal with this. Not to mention Sarah does a fantastic job at writing thoroughly entertaining and engaging self help with laugh out loud humor sprinkled into the mix. If you or someone you know has issues with anxiety, stress, and/or freaking out then this is the holy grail of books. I'd go as far as to say this should be taught in high school and/or college. If you are still reading this review then you should probably just buy the book already.

I am a huge fan of Sarah's book The Life-Changing Magic of Not Giving a F*ck and fell in love with her technique of letting go of anxiety so I knew what I was in for reading Calm the F*ck Down. Sarah throughout the book reminds you that every situation always has two sides and it is up to us which side to see. Myself along with a lot of our community has gone through suffering of anxiety and needed a book like this to put our thoughts into perspective. It is also easy to relate to Sarah and the approach she has taken throughout this book and it is a give that many will connect to this book. That is why we give this book 5 stars.

Who could pass up a book with this title? I personally tell myself numerous times a day that I need to calm the f*ck down! So it sounded perfect since I worry over everything and anything. I loved the quirky writing. She gives plenty of ideas and some that I have definitely already tried since reading the book. Her sense of humor gives a whole new meaning on how to calm the f*ck down. It wasn't boring reading but there were times I just kind of skimmed over something that didn't interest me. This was my first book by the author so I can't compare it to her previous books. But I would like to try another one. * I was provided an ARC to read from the publisher and NetGalley. It was my decision to read and review this book.

Are you looking for the pep-talk of the ages? Well then Calm the F*ck Down by Sarah Knight will give you just that! This no nonsense look at control, worrying and dealing with stress will floor you. I LOVED the author’s comical and mirth-filled prose, I mean, the title itself gives it away right. The author explains what she refers to as “The Four Faces of Freaking Out” as well as the “flipside” of these four faces. This book is a practical guide that will help you accept things under your control (or lack thereof) as well as put you on the path to “productive, helpful, and effective worrying.” And it’s hilarious to boot! Great read. I received a review copy of this book from the publisher through NetGalley for my honest review. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
