Loved the characters in the book, enough of a mystery to keep things interesting.

Loved the characters and the secrets! Funny that as we get older we see that our parents are more human than we believe. Mothers are amazingly strong.

This is my first time to read a book by Carolyn Dingman, but not the last. 290 pages & I enjoyed all of them. It was hard to put down & I did not figure out ahead how it was going to transpire, that made it even better. GJRA

This is a well written story. It made me laugh, cry, it and brought back memories of my own Southern upbringing. The characters were great and really loved how they all came together in the end.

This story really touches the heart. She's in a relationship that is just a comfortable coupling, no real love on either part. Very touching how she discovers her mother's past life and where it leads her in her future life. You want to keep turning the pages to see where the next discovery will lead.

It's refreshing to go to a story that is off the beaten path and find one that you can sit back and enjoy.I loved Elioett's part in this.With about 50 more pg's to go,things are up in the air with him.I'm hoping this is not one of those"good guys finish last" scenarios.I'm recommending this one to you all.I do think it drags somewhat so l am giving it a 4.

Absolutely could not put this book down. I kept sending snippets of quotes to my sister and telling her that she must read this book! Who needs sleep anyway, that's what coffee is for. Excellent read.
