Overview

A young woman's past liberates all that she's ever desired in this sparkling romance of adventure from international bestselling author Fern Michaels. . .

As a van der Rhys, Caleb's first allegiance is to the sea. Close behind are his affections for anyone foolish enough to pass him in a skirt. But that shouldn't be a problem when he's hired to ship a cargo of Puritans to the colonies—until a stowaway is discovered onboard. Wren is equal parts stormy and beautiful, normally an irresistible combination for Caleb. But they have a shared past that deems her off limits. All they have are the stars to guide them, in which case anything is possible. . .

This book was very good...probably my favorite in the series. You have to read the first two in order for a lot to make sense, but you also have to understand her style of writing...a lot of suspense and it's frustrating at times, but stick with it and you will probably love it too. In some spots it takes a little too long to get to the point, but that's really what makes you keep coming back for more. Impossible to put down.

No cohesive plot, the story kept going off in different directions and never really came together. Parts that needed more detail were glossed over, parts that did not need detail had too much and did not find one character that was likeable or interesting. Sorry but this was not a good book.

I couldn't finish the book, I did try but had to stop when I was half way through, I found every character to have a horrible personality. All as I can say is that it was one of the worst books I have ever read and unfortunately I will not be reading another from this author, well, not any time soon.

I thought this book had no plot to it. It Started out well with the main character facing her adopted parents with her news of wanting to marry. After being warned about the guy she runs away with him and gets her self raped. After that the plot structure went down hill fast. The main character was stupid. Instead of learning from her first experience she gets herself raped again by the same guy. I was completly disappointed in Ms.Micheals book. It was the first book I read for her and I can honestly say it is my last
