No one can write about small Alaskan villages, bush pilots and life in the Park like Dana Stabenow. She knows it and has lived it. Another great book.

I have found that I love all of Dana Stabenow's books, not only for the stories which became more and more well-written, but also for all of the history of the natives and Alaska. Readers need to start from #1 of the series in order to keep up with the characters.

Another great read in the Kate Shugak series. I guess I like these books so much because they're fast mystery reads with great descriptions of Alaska and it's people and cultures. Patiently waiting for the 5th in ebook form to come out!

Some of her books begin slowly but end strong. However, this book was good from the beginning!
