In conjunction with our 90th anniversary, the Junior League of Denver is excited to announce the publication of our 5th cookbook, Colorado Classique.
As varied as the scenery is in our beautiful state, Colorado's culinary landscape is equally diverse. Colorado Classique features a collection of recipes from the casual Apres Ski Beans to the elegant Truffled Gnocchi. A memorable meal is often one that is exciting to the eye as well as to the tongue. Our partnership with Souders Studios captured these distinct flavors throughout this book in over 70 mouth-watering photos featuring some of our favorite recipes.
We are introducing beer flavor profiles provided by Boulder Beer Company, Colorado's first microbrewery. You'll learn whether a pilsner or a malt will be the perfect match for your meal. If you prefer wine, The Vineyard Wine Shop has provided wine pairing suggestions including details on why a particular wine will compliment your recipe, for example, whether it has fruity or earthy notes that enhance the flavors of the dish.
