About the Author

Emlyn and Tricia Williams worked with Scripture Union for many years. Tricia was developing, editing and writing Bible resources. She has recently been researching the area of faith and dementia. Retired from working for a local church, Emlyn is continuing in a writing and speaking ministry.
Gethin has worn many hats during his working life: pastor, author, journalist, public relations. He is currently learning to be a grandfather.
Gill is a reader in the Church of England, and lectures part time in Theology. She used to work for Scripture Union as a schools worker, and prior to that was a primary teacher. Married to a vicar, she enjoys crafting in her spare time.
As an anglican priest, Penelope has had an international ministry, leading retreats and pilgrimages, speaking on conferences and leading parishes. She is a published author and a spiritual director.
David is the teaching pastor at Thornbury Baptist Church, near Bristol.
Andy has been CEO of SU Scotland since 2001. He and his wife Alyson live in Edinburgh, quite near to their daughters, son-in-law and grandchildren.
Lin's whole career has been in writing and publishing. She was and editor with Scripture Union's Bible Resources team from 1997 to 2008, and is the author/ghost writer of several books.
Formerly a Bible-reading guide editor for SU, Phil now produces poetry and fiction as a freelancer. He's married to Nicola and belongs to Newfrontiers church in Milton Keynes, where he loves helping people to walk in their God-given direction.
After many years of mission in Asia, Mike and his wife have settled into a large, rambly old house in Herefordshire, which they use for various types of hospitality ministry.
Emlyn worked for Scripture Union for over 35 years in a variety of roles and places. Recently retired, he is continuing in a writing and speaking ministry, hopefully at a slower pace. He is married to Tricia and they have two adult children.
John is a Biblical and Theological consultant for SU, and is engaged in writing and itinerant preaching and teaching. John is a member of the leadership team at Tile Kiln Church in Chelmsford. He has two adult chldren and seven grandchildren.
