About the Author

Tricia and Emlyn Williams worked with Scripture Union for many years. Emlyn led Schools ministry, then worked with SU International. 'Tricia was part of the Schools team and later worked for SU Publishing, developing, writing and editing Bible resources. Having recently completed research in the area of faith and dementia, she continues with writing and editing faith resources. Retired from his role as discipleship pastor in a local church, Emlyn now continues his writing and talking ministries.
Tricia worked with Scripture Union for many years, developing and editing Bible resources. She has recently completed PHD research in the area of faith and dementia. 'Tricia and her husband Emlyn are currently part of a lively Anglican church in Milton Keynes.
Jo Swinney is Director of Church Communications at CPO (Christian Publishing and Outreach Ltd), a speaker and an author, most recently of Home: The Quest to Belong (Hodder&Stoughton). She has an MA in Theology from Regent College, Vancouver, and lives in Surbiton with her husband and their two daughters.
Esther Bailey works as a Children and Families Pastor for Chowdene Community Church, Gateshead, England. She grew up in Zimbabwe, where she trained as a primary school teacher. In 1983, she came to Britain on holiday, met her husband and is still on holiday 37 years later! She and her husband John have two adult daughters. She loves to see animals in the wild, whether foxes or rabbits in the UK, or elephants and lions in Africa.
Mark Meynell trains preachers and cultural apologists, having worked in local churches in the UK, taught theology in Uganda and written several books. He is married to Rachel and they have two grown-up children.
Gethin has worn many hats during his working life: pastor, author, journalist, public relations. He is currently learning to be a grandfather.
Tony Horsfall is married to Evelyn. He is an author and retreat leader based in Yorkshire.
An ordained Baptist minister, Nigel is currently a doctoral research student at the University of Birmingham where he is investigating patterns of covid distribution and abundance in the UK. He lives in Milton Keynes with his wife and two grown-up children.
