Karl Emil Franzos: Der Pojaz
Franzos' autobiografisch gefärbter Entwicklungsroman beschreibt den Konflikt des possenreißenden Jungen Sender Glatteis, der zwischen orthodoxem Judentum und seiner Sehnsucht nach den Brettern, die die Welt bedeuten hin- und hergerissen wird und schließlich resigniert scheitert. Der bereits 1893 abgeschossene Roman erschien erst 1905, ein Jahr nach Emil Franzos' Tod.
