Most business books are either so practical they're boring, or so inspirational they're fluffy. Cathy manages to bring in just enough of both to get you going with practical steps, helpfully summed up at the end of each chapter. She spends each chapter thoughtfully presenting the inspirational stories from her podcast guests and weaving that into practical steps the listener/reader can take to implement similar things in their life. The way she presents and builds on each concept reminds me a lot of Mel Robbins' Audible original books, but instead of one interview per chapter, Cathy has many different perspectives to pull from. If you like Robbins' originals you'll like this book too. Definitely one of the best business books I've ever read-- I'm five years into owning my own business and I'm re-reading this a second time already because I got so much out of it the first time. However, the way Cathy takes complicated topics and breaks them down, I'm also excited to send this book to some of my friends who have never even thought about working for themselves before, because I know this book can help them too.

Excellent book. Highly recommended for anyone who feels "stuck" in his or her career and needs to make a transition to something more enjoyable and fulfilling. The author encourages readers to follow their passions and, more importantly, to develop their passions. It's okay to make mistakes and not have a crystal clear vision of where you're going, she advices. It's more important to take steps in the direction of what you really want to do with your life. I found this book very inspiring.

So inspirational! Cathy really gives people the mindset and specific steps on how to turn dreams into a reality. She really instills the idea that it is more than possible do the thing you love for a living. This book is fantastic for anyone who feels stuck, who has a passion, or anyone who wants to know where to start to begin living their purpose. Everyone has something to offer the world, and Cathy does a magnificent job on giving both inspiration that it is possible and steps to make it happen. Highly recommend! Give her podcast a listen as well!

This book is a really great and positive experience. It's great to know the author wasn't just handed success but she came from a family who didn't believe they could achieve these levels of success. Cathy (author) was able to turn her fate around and become successful beyond belief as well as live her purpose. I'm not done with the book but I love that it has prompts at the end of each section to really think about how you can get in line with what you are excited to do and make a living from it. It's quite inspiring. Can't wait to finish the rest of the book.
