Barbie: Fairytopia features the famous doll Barbie as a fairy named Elina. One day Elina awakens to discover that all her associates have lost their ability to fly. Elina believes she can help her friends if only she can find Azura the Guardian Fairy. While on her quest she becomes involved with Laverna, who, unbeknownst to Elina, caused all of the problems in the first place as part of an attempt to take control of Fairytopia from the Enchantress.

I have a 2 and 4 year old and they just love all the Barbie movies, even though we can rent them at the library for free I think I have finally bought all of them because they just love every single one of them, the Disney movies are definately on the back burner at our house. Barbie seems to be first off the shelf most days!!!

The Animation was wonderful as well as the music. The story was amazing and enchanting.

How many fairy tale imaginatives can we throw into one movie without connecting them at all? This story is so loose that my kids started playing while watching it to take up some time. The animation is very stiff, too--I haven't seen hair stay put like that since the 80s.
