We mostly watch the Claymation Christmas. The music is great, the clay characters are awesome, ... you can't beat it. I can't choose a favorite skit. They are all good. The camels and 3 wise men, the bells, the "waffling", the California Raisin Rudolph...LOL The Halloween one is great, too. I haven't watched the Easter one yet, but I'm sure it's just as good. We had this on VHS for a long time and it was getting worn out. We were so happy to see it was on DVD.

While the Halloween and Easter bits are more than a little bizarre, the Christmas claymation makes this worth every penny of the purchase price. I don't know if ours is a later version, but we had no problems with the sound on ours, as mentioned by the earlier reviewer. Everything was clear and sharp, and it was so good to see this in a clear version again (my old video tape was about ready to give up the ghost!) Now, if they would only release the claymation version of The Adventures of Mark Twain! Another amazing Will Vinton piece!

This is one of my all-time favorite xmas specials. I have been hoping for it to come out on dvd for years & was very excited to see this new release. The humor and claymation are fantastic, plus there are some great new takes on traditional xmas songs. I was pretty disappointed to find that they had not remastered the sound track for the xmas special. The sound is very harsh, even with the volume down. Since the focus is on music, I would have thought that some effort would have been put into making it sound clear, especially since it is selling for $20. The sound is good for the halloween and easter specials and the picture is sharp and colorful throughout. I would still recommend it, but hope that they come out with a remastered version soon.
