The cross-dressing comedy Connie and Carla comes to DVD with a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1. English soundtracks are rendered in both Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS 5.1, while a French soundtrack has also been recorded in Dolby Digital 5.1. French and Spanish subtitles are accessible. Supplemental materials include a commentary track recorded by director Michael Lembeck and star/screenwriter Nia Vardalos. Their conversation is exceedingly light and trivial, although those who are charmed by Vardalos will easily find it as amusing as they will find the film. Extended versions of the movie's production numbers, outtakes, a behind-the-scenes featurette, and a short documentary on Debbie Reynolds round out the extras on this disc.

If you want to just see a movie that makes you feel good, see Connie & Carla. It was funny, romantic and seeing Toni Collett in drag was worth every penny. The musical numbers and the costumes were great. I can't believe the critics didn't like this movie.

I didn't know what to expect but ended up enjoying every minute of it! Some of the humor is slap you in the face funny while other parts are quite subtle and touching. I've seen it twice and will be watching it again!

I'm sorry that this movie didn't get the rave reviews that Greek Wedding did, because this was a fun, forget-your-troubles movie. I never got bored and my tickle bone loved it, too.

I don't know why the critics panned this movie! It was funny, sweet, and very amusing without trying too hard or pretending to be something more than an excellent afternoon's entertainment.

Two women, who accidentally witness a murder, go on the run to hide, and end up as two women, pretending to be men, pretending to be women! What's not to love!?
