Two drug-addled dramas from the late '60s and early '70s are paired up in yet another inspired double-feature DVD release from Something Weird Video. Both Ghetto Freaks and Way Out have been transferred to disc in their original full-frame aspect ratio of 1.33:1, and the audio is mastered in Dolby Digital Mono. The print quality for both films is variable, but better than has been seen from most VHS sources. The dialogue for both films is in English with no multiple language options included. Something Weird has bulked out this package with a collection of trailers for four dope-themed dramas and a vintage educational short called "Narcotics: The Inside Story" (which offers little concrete information about narcotics, as it happens).
