When a motorcycle-riding stuntman offers his soul to Mephistopheles in order to save the life of the one he loves most, he is forced to play host to a powerful supernatural entity whose flaming skull visage strikes fear into the heart of his enemies in this feature-film version of the long-running comic series. By day, Johnny Blaze (actor and comic-book devotee Nicolas Cage) is one of the world's best-known stuntmen, but when the sun goes down and he is in the presence of evil, the death-defying daredevil bursts into flames to become the indestructible, motorcycle-riding antihero known to the world as the Ghost Rider.

Somewhere between the skeleton head with the not so skeletal body and the on fire chain whip thing did i lose interest. Or maybe it was that plot where nicolas cage has to ride around town as a ghost flame head man to cure himself of this million year old curse. But that "i'm going to take this curse, and use it against you" quote really did me in. How STUPID!!! Could Cage have sunk lower? Between this and "The Wicker Man" I don't know if i can take anymore. It's time for this RIDER to RETIRE.

I can see how some viewers don't like GHOST RIDER. It's because they're not really into the dark side of the comic book world. But I enjoyed it because I'm really into these type of films and comic books.

Id say this was more geared towards a younger audience then some of the other movies released by Marvel. Nicolas Cage was perfectly caste as a moody and dark character and Eva Mendes was a beautiful actress for the Romance cliche that accompanies the heroes story. The special effects were done well and as for the dialogue.. aside from an occasional slip into the un-original hero responses it wasnt that bad. I do agree that the romance had no real chemistry but I mean what is to be expected from Hells Bounty Hunter? Some heroes really dont go with the romance as good as others. Overall id give this 3 stars.

when i first heard about this movie being madde, and the guy who directed Daredevil was making this, i was skeptic. but as the movie got closer and previews and clips started coming out, i was proven wrong. this movie was amazing! leave it to the same studio who brought Spider-Man to life in this adaption. Nicolas Cage's acting was superb as usual. Eva Mendes is smoking hot Peter Fonda made a wonderful interpretation of the devil. Sam Elliot and Wes Bentley were superb. amazing special effects, amaxing story. in one word simply put: AMAZING! ***and a half stars out of ****

Ghost Rider was not the best movie that I have seen this year but it was also not the worst. My 11-year old son seemed to enjoy it and I think that is who it will appeal to. I do think that someone other than Nicolas Cage should have played Ghost Rider. But all in all, an okay movie. Loved to see Sam Elliott...still as handsome as ever!

sure it looked cool though i thought it was an okay movie but not that bad maybe it could of gone in a different direction but all comic movies start out that way then they sometimes get better with its sequel or something. oh well the skull biker costume was the only cool thing in the whole movie.

It's just a bad film all around. The story was too simplistic and silly, the romance had no chemistry, and the dialogue was horrible. For the most part the actual look of the rider was good, and that's about it. I wanted to see it since I am a fan of most comic movies, but this was just rotten.
