Get Smart's creator Leonard Stern returned in the 1970s with the slightly more earnest series McMillan and Wife - a staple on the rotating NBC Mystery Movie from 1971-77, vis-à-vis McCloud and Columbo. This police drama starred Rock Hudson and Susan St. James as Police Commissioner Stewart "Mac" McMillan and his wife Sally. In episodes, Sally would periodically stumble into one criminal incident or another and then drag her husband into the fray. Season Four ran from September 1974 through February 1975, and contained six episodes, all of which appear in this collection. These include: Downshift to Danger, The Game of Survival, Buried Alive, Guilt By Association, Night Train to L.A. and Love, Honor and Swindle. Guest stars include: Bert Convy, M. Emmet Walsh, José Feliciano, Linda Evans and David Birney.
