Pie in the Sky is one of the best series I have seen in the last 40 years. Combining the culinary and restaurant world with police work was an inspiration. Acting is intimate and down to earth. We cannot wait for the availability of Series 2. Foyle's War is another British series that rates as highly as Pie in the Sky. Michael Kitchen is superb in his role.

All I want to say is it was wonderful to share this with my children as family entertainment. I couldn't believe how long ago it was i watched this on TV in UK - that was 3 continents ago but it was wonderful to feel the total Englishness wash over me. NOW where is series 2 Let me at it

One of the best series I have seen. It blends cooking and police work. Very believable characters. As I watch other mysteries, I see people I have seen in Pie in the Sky. It is a shame it was only 5 seasons.

Richard Griffiths is wonderful. What a contrast character to his "Uncle Vernon" of Harry Potter. Here Griffiths plays an intelligent, together  cop who's delight is cooking, and what cooking. If you like English cop shows and cooking you'll love this sweet, delightful series. I have all 5 yrs and although the cast changes a bit the last show is as entertaining as the first.  And some of the Chefs creations I wish were here to taste. Enjoy!

Most enjoyable British series as only they can do. Rates right up there with Midsomer Murders and Foyles War. Highly recommend it! Pegleg

It is an engaging British series that provides an evening of enjoyable viewing. The characters and actors work exceeding well together along with an enjoyable story line. Imaging a detective story where only fine dining and good food are featured as part of a low key mystery. Highly recommended.

It's nice to see a show that's witty, entertaining, humorus and well acted in this world of shock entertainment. I regret that there aren't more.
