There's something about Quincy MD that just makes me smile. I remember it being the first crime drama/comedy that captured me. Sure it's of the era - there's lots of typecast women, but to be fair there's pathetic typecast men to go along with them. Lots of drinking, and extremely unlikely leash giving to Quincy - but lots of fun. (Like shows now are accurate either!!) And it never seems to take itself that seriously.
