First off, THE CHRONICLES OF RIDDICK was definitely NOT A DISAPPOINTMENT; it had religious allegory and parenting lessons. Now this sequel has nightmares and ethical and moral lapses in our hero. Beware that the Unrated version is a scramble of Theatrical Version and Director's Cut. The order of scenes is startling, after seeing it in the theater. And this may dismay parents with all its gore and harsh (Realistic?) cussing. But for Fans, it is long awaited. Now lets see if there is any Next to the franchise. Still gotta love Vin!

This was a great movie! Casting, visual effects, dialog, stunts everything worked together to make this a must see film. Vin Diesel is Riddick. The story stands on it's own, you don't need to know the prior Riddick stories to enjoy this one.
