The intense, fiery and audacious Oklahoma City police detective is back to mend her life in the acclaimed TNT series Saving Grace. Holly Hunter stars as Detective Grace Hanadarko, a fast-living, hard-drinking, cynical forty-something who, despite being at the top of her field, takes struggle to a new level. It all catches up to her after she tragically kills a pedestrian in a drunk driving accident, forcing her, uncharacteristically, to ask God for help. Her prayers are answered by Earl (Leon Rippy); a scruffy, tobacco-spitting, unlikely "last-chance angel" who unfolds his wings to reveal his heavenly origins and pledges to help Grace get her life on the right path. In the second season's (2008-9) 14 episodes, Grace's life reaches its darkest point as she continues to embrace the edges of life while trying to forgive herself for her sister's death in the Oklahoma City bombing.
