This adaptation of the E.B. White story The Trumpet of the Swan comes to DVD with a pair of transfers. The widescreen anamorphic transfer produces an image with an aspect ratio of 1.78:1, and is preferable to the standard full-frame image. Closed-captioned English soundtracks are rendered in both Dolby Digital 5.1 and Dolby Digital Surround, while Spanish and French soundtracks have been recorded in Dolby Digital Stereo. Subtitles are accessible in all three of those languages as well. Supplemental materials include trailers and an interactive game. This is a wonderful Columbia/TriStar release that should entertain the entire family.

The Trumpet of the Swan is a touching stroy of Louis, a trumpeter swan, who cannot talk. His father flies to find a real trumpet for Louis. Watch Louis become a famous trumpet player. I enjoyed reading the novel and watching the movie in my school.
