Michael Lindsay-Hogg directs Aiden Quinn and Jared Harris in the supposed McCartney/Lennon reunion film Two of Us, which comes to DVD with a standard full-frame transfer that preserves the original broadcast aspect ratio of 1.33:1. The English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital Stereo. There are no subtitles, but the soundtrack is closed-captioned. There are no supplemental materials if any consequence, making it difficult to recommend this Paramount release to anyone other than a hardcore Beatles fan.

Many new viewers rave about this film after seeing it on the internet for the first time where it has been translated in a number of languages (in parts, so it's worth it to buy the DVD). The film is a well written ad nuanced portrait of Paul and John. Writer Mark Stanfield's ability to capture Paul and John's relationship in both dialogue and setting is the reason why director, Michael Lindsay Hogg (Let it Be;Brideshead Revisited) agreed to direct the film. Gentle, honest portrait of the relationship of the two men approached in a manner similar to the film "My Diner with Andre."
