About the Author

Tanya Provines is a freelance author, illustrator, and artist with a BFA degree from the University of Oklahoma. She has written three books, more than 80 eBooks, and has produced two DVDs. Oklahoma Red Dirt Artwork TM is her signature media. Using genuine Oklahoma red soil, she draws and paints archival quality portraits, landscapes, and wildlife scenes. She is also a licensed art teacher and a former certified Grumbacher Fine Art instructor. Her "How To Draw In Six Easy Steps" series of eBooks uses a method of drawing, developed by Ms. Provines, that is a fun way to exercise the right brain. The right brain is responsible for facial recognition, expressing emotions, intuition, spatial awareness, creativity, and other critical functions. Her artwork is held in collections across the United States. Some of her artwork is available as fine art prints at tanyaprovines.deviantart.com. Follow her blog at tanyaprovines.blogspot.com.
