This was my first Eberron book after reading a slew of DrangonLance books. I found this one to be a quick and exciting read that had me enjoying the characters and the story. I'd recomend this to anyone since it gives enough detail about the setting to follow the story without getting bogged down in history. I look forward to starting the next book!

The language is well-crafted, descriptions are vivid, and dialogue is both realistic and engaging. A great read, which I recommend to anyone who enjoys fantasy books.
