My interest in essential oils began about two years ago when I had to perform surgery for my puppy. She was six months old, and I had to spay her. The next day after the surgery she was behaving normally, but we had to take care of the wound and to do that, we have to keep her calm. I did not want to use regular medication because she was a puppy, so I decided to use lavender to calm her down. I made a spray, and I spray the house, and I put just ½ a drop on her ears. It worked perfect; she remains calm, and she recovered quickly.
After this experience, I wanted to know more about essential oils, and it uses, and I took an introductory course. I enjoyed it and I was amazed at all the possibilities about the use of essential oils. This is the reason why I wanted to help people to know more about aromatherapy and decided to write this beginners guide to help readers to understand about essential oils and how they can be used for physical and emotional health and beauty.
