Flat Stanley was a very good book because Flat Stanley teaches us about fire safety. You should really read this book.
This book would be good for beginning readers. It had easy terms, but was not as dull as a lot of easy reads. Young children would really appreciate Stanley becoming a hero at the end. I would ask students to draw a poster for our own classroom poster contest like the one in this book. I would also have the students think of another way that Flat Stanley could be helpful.
