Not too long ago I wrote about how much we love The Jesus Storybook Bible, so I was delighted to see another book come out by the same team. Found is a padded board book based on Psalm 23. It has the same lyrical text from The Jesus Storybook Bible written by Sally Lloyd-Jones, but it features beautiful new illustration by Jago. It is a lovely book and a great way to introduce this well-known and well-loved Psalm to young children. If you like The Jesus Storybook Bible you will want to add this book to your collection too. Found tells the story of the twenty-third Psalm in a way that engages even the littlest of kids. The adorable illustrations of a little lamb and its shepherd are perfect for keeping wiggly toddlers engaged, and the short and sweet story carries a big message about God's great love for us! I've read it to my little one year old baby girl numerous times, and unlike most board books that make me cringe with their mind-numbing lack of storyline, Found is a rich, poignant book that I actually wouldn't mind having committed to memory for once. My baby girl loves the book, too, and it's nice and sturdy and holds up great to her pushing and pulling on the pages! (I received a free copy of this product in exchange for my honest review.
