The bridge betwen movies holds its own as it helps set the stage ofor the next adventure. Transitioning fro the song and dance story of the first movie about sisters love outshining most this adventure holds proisee for a better sequel. Still a bit preachy as this series is, but still magical as we get a look at the mythology of Arrendelle and the splendor of the world before it. At times the book is a bit rushed when it starts introducing new characters, while bloated and dragged out on details of the landscape, the book could be better if the author found more balance in story telling and involvement rather than describing the chaning world. For a youth novel though, it works to accomplish the goal of getting fans stoked for the movie to release soon. Therefore, factoring in the intended age audience, bringing in the sense of advventure and introduction, and sticking to its disney roots, this book gets 4 out of 5.
Join Elsa and Anna on an original adventure this full length "Frozen" novel! Shortly before Elsa goes on her first state visit outside of Arendelle, Anna experiences nightmares. The royal sisters are joined by Kristoff, Sven, and Olaf to find out the cause of Anna's nightmares. Some of the local citizens help too. Elsa and Anna discover more about their pasts and their parents. There are references to the first "Frozen" movie and the shorts. The novel ends with content from the "Frozen 2" trailers. Definitely a great read before "Frozen 2" opens in theaters!
