International bestselling author Josephine Angelini concludes her action-packed Starcrossed trilogy with Goddess—a romantically-charged page-turner that Newsday raved was a "clever reworking of Greek mythology."

After Helen Hamilton accidentally unleashes the violent gods from their captivity on Olympus, she and her friends must imprison them before their thirst for war—and blood—take over the world. But the gods' fury already has a body count, and time is running out. With Lucas Delos's life hanging in the balance, and their once-solid group of friends now divided, Helen must face this battle alone, while also deciding who has her heart—Lucas, or the possible Tyrant, Orion.

With a masterfully-woven plot and epically-high stakes, the compelling twists and turns in Goddess will leave readers completely spellbound.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!! This book captured me from the minute I opened its cover. I did not put it down and spent my whole day reading it. Every part about it was written to perfection and all lose ends were tied up. I think everyone will be happy with the outcome of this book. Although there are some tragedies throughout the book they are all worth it. Helen's character really shined and her bravery and cunning were very pronounced. If anyone is wondering whether or not this book will leave you satisfied, it will. Take my word for it. It is one of a kind and definitely a worthy conclusion for a trilogy as amazing at this. I am so sad to see this saga come to an end but I am glad that it rewarded me with a great ride. This book deserves five stars and is a must-read for anyone who fell in love with this series like I did.

Review 6****** This is the third and final book in the Starcrossed trilogy. I loved it! Helen Hamilton is a fantastic character! I loved her when I first met her. She is extremely beautiful, thanks to "that face" (Helen of Troy). She is about to face the hardest test (to stay away from Lucas) and a battle with the Titans. Will she be able to control her new powers before she and her friends get hurt or killed? I have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of this book! I pre-ordered it as soon as it became available, because I knew it would be epic! I fell in love with all the characters in the first two books, and I wondered what trials and tribulations would affect them in this one. I was completely hooked from the first page, as it continues just after the ending of the second book. The love triangle between Helen, Lucas and Orion is intense. However, I kept routing for Lucas, even though he's Helen's cousin (or is he?...). Both of these boys are extremely hot! There is also a new character who has Hector in a tizz! I liked her (Andy) very much. I found her to be a nice inclusion to an already fantastic group of people. This book is an action packed roller coaster ride! It had me in tears one moment, and biting my finger nails the next! The Titans are a vindictive and nasty bunch of Gods! But it's the betrayal by one of the group that shocked me the most! His death filled me with sadness, as he was one of the most likable characters, but when it's war, death is inevitable. The ending was suitable (trying not to give too much away here!  ), and left me glad to know these fabulous people! I feel sad now that the trilogy is finished, but I can always visit them again when I feel the need! Josephine Angelini has written a fabulous trilogy filled with Greek Gods and Goddesses, not to mention the Kracken! I have already added her to my favourite authors list, and look forward to reading more of her books in the future. I HIGHLY recommend this book (and series) as a "MUST READ" if you love YA Romance novels filled with strong characters and/or Greek Gods and Goddesses! - Lynn Worton

Umm this is quite possibly one of the greatest books I've ever read. The first book in the trilogy was a fun read but nothing outstanding, the second book really shocked me with how awesome the plot got and just how good the author is at battle scenes and everything and then oh my god, this final book was so  amazing from cover to cover that I couldn't put it down, I read the whole thing in one sitting! I really wish there was more, but am so glad I found this series!

Woah!  Talk about going out with a bang.  This book was one big awesome-fest from the very first page.  Absolutely amazing, compelling, and action-packed.  I loved this book, this series, and the author!  This is one of the best series ever, and has gone on my list as one of my favorites of all time.  Epic! Everything you thought you knew up to now may not be correct, and there are some twists and turns in this story that took me completely by surprise.  Even people you thought you understood undergo some major changes in this book that were shocking, to say the least. Helen's character stays true to the other books, but with a bonus.  She has come completely into her power, and it is awesome to behold.  Otherwise, she's the same loveable Helen, even if some of her friends might feel as if the power has changed her.  She is brave and self-sacrificing, and you can't help but continue to love her like crazy. Then there are the guys.  I love Lucas!  I love Orion!  I truly wished she could just have both men and be done with it, but alas, one had to win.  Both of these guys are incredible, both would do anything, and do, for her, and both are honorable and brave.  What's not to love here?  But one does come out on top, and it was fitting.  What had to happen to make it possible was so suspenseful and nail-biting that I found myself hopping up and down in my seat until it was over.  The excitement level was just getting to me like crazy. Loyalties are tested, people change sides, betrayals occur, sacrifices are made.... the story was just epic.  I think the last half of the book was one big fight scene that kept you on the edge of your seat.  The author did an absolutely amazing job weaving all the strings together into a brilliant tapestry of a story that flowed and fit so beautifully.  Her writing is fast-paced, emotional, and excitement. This series is now over, but as I said, I will keep it on my re-read pile.  I am already looking forward to Josephine Angelini's new project, whatever it may be.

A Must Read Contemporary, Romance, Young Adult Nantucket Helen is being plagued with visions of destruction especially with the gods’ thirst for war that already has a body count. She has to find a way to imprison them again or there will be the risk of unleashing immeasurable chaos. Helen’s powers are increasing and it is causing the distance between her and her mortal friends to increase too. They are uncertain whether to fear her or revere her and now the once-solid group is divided. Making matters worse the Oracle reveals that a dangerous Tyrant is lucking among them. All fingers are now pointing to Orion. Helen is unsure whether she loves Lucas or Orion and she must make a terrifying decision because an all-out war is coming to her shores. This is a wonderful conclusion to this trilogy. Readers will hate to see it end but it is a very satisfying ending to a trilogy of books that prove to be very original. The characters are interesting as they grow and deal with all the obstacles that are thrown at them. Helen starts the trilogy out as unsure of herself and by the end she finds out just what she is capable of. She also learns just who she can truly trust and depend on. This is a trilogy that has proven to be one to put on the keeper shelf because this is one that readers will want to read again and again. This trilogy also shows this is an author to definitely watch. The trilogy takes the myths of Greek mythology turns them around and makes it very unique. While the books have a number of pages the trilogy proves to be a fast read as readers will find it very hard to put down and won’t want to leave this world until the very last page of the last book. The ending does not disappoint in the least.

If you love romance & greek mythology you will love Goddess. Although it is based on Greek mythology, you do not need to know much. Angelini describes & helps you understand in her writing. Goddess is the shortest book in the trilogy but a great ending to the story. I loved all three books & was very happy but sad for the ending. Of course, I would have loved to have the trilogy continue but I cannot wait for Angelini's other stories! This book is highly recommended & I hope that you decide to read it!

I really enjoyed this whole series and this book is no exception. The only complaint I have is that it was the wrapped everything up so quickly. It doesn't cover what happens to everyone after all is said and done. Hoping the series extends a few more books.

It can be difficult writing a trilogy. There are stories to tell, hopefully with a minimum of filler, that should thrill, engage and leave you ever hopeful for the next chapter. In the end you should feel some resolve and a sense that the characters will live on in some way or another. All this was beautifully fulfilled with a book that kept me on the edge of my seat and and didn't fill with too much previous background information. I absolutely loved it and look forward to reading the entire trilogy again. Bravo!

Helen is back in her final battle against the Gods. The ending to the trilogy doesn’t disappoint with romance, family, friendship, war, mystery and betrayal. Full of detailed scenes, Josephine Angelini has brought a great trilogy into the world of books. We follow Helen in her journey and with input from other characters the reader is able to gain detailed description of peoples actions and thoughts, bringing us into the story full of lies and truths. It kept me on edge at times with the need to read more, I fully enjoyed this book and the trilogy overall is one worth reading because Angelini has successfully communicated Greek mythology clearly to bring this world of to life. Read it, read it, READ IT!

Amazing Ending to this Series! Why You Should Buy It This tumultuous ending to an amazing series will surprise, shock, and amaze readers — it is everything you want in a book and more. My Thoughts Wow. I just want to hug this book and the characters in it.  Angelini drops us right back in the middle of the action — the Scions trying to heal from their fight with Ares.  The book takes off and never slows down.  I could not put it down at any point — every page was full of mystery and suspense. I really have to hand it to this author — I wasn’t able to predict the events that were going to occur.  She completely avoided as many cliches as possible (except the fatal love-at-first sight encounters that all the characters somehow faced) and left my head spinning with the twists and turns the story took. The Greek mythology is brought to life — not only from the modern sense, but from the days of Troy.  I think it is great that we got to see both ‘Helens’, especially since there are teens reading the story.  I loved how other points in history were also woven into the plot.  My hope is this story inspires teens to read The Iliad or The Odyssey or any of the other classics that were a starting point for this story.  I know I found myself wanting to pick them up again. The best part of the book was that the ending isn’t shiny and perfect.  Things happen, choices are made, and the end is a bit unpredictable.  I have issues with books that can’t finish a series strong — it tarnishes the entire series.  This is definitely one book that does not disappoint in that aspect. Overall Five out of Five Stars
