Millions of children have been lulled to sleep by this classic bedtime tale. Now paired with a cuddly plush bunny, it is the perfect way to say "goodnight."

In a great green room, tucked away in bed, is a little bunny. "Goodnight room, goodnight moon." And to all the familiar things in the softly lit room—to the picture of the three little bears sitting on chairs, to the clocks and his socks, to the mittens and the kittens, to everything one by one—the little bunny says goodnight.

In this classic of children's literature, beloved by generations of readers and listeners, the quiet poetry of the words and the gentle, lulling illustrations combine to make a perfect book for the end of the day.

I got this book at the library because my 2.5yr old son Loves the moon. I am now having to purchase this book. Even though I had to return the book to the library, I have to 'read' it to him or he will not go to sleep. It is simple enough that he 'reads' along with me. 'He memorized it almost immediately' Luckily I have a good memory and can tell it to him while I wait for the one I ordered to get here. I highly recommend this book to ANYONE with small children.

Goodnight Moon is one of those classic books that every child should know. It is a great bedtime story, and the little bunny included in this gift set makes the story all the more real for the sleepy kid. The illustrations are also clear and fun, and can be a great learning tool for association not only in the book, but also around the room, saying "goodnight" to other objects. I like the idea of reading cardboard books to toddlers, since they have a tendency to chew on everything, so you know that you copy, like this story, will prevail though the years.

This is a wonderful book for bedtime. Scene recognition, name to object association and a cute fuzzy bunny make fun for the very young and the eager learner both.

This book was a gift for my newest great-grandson. His grandmother, (my daughter-in-law) mentioned how much she looked forward to reading this book to her grandchild, just as she read it to his father. This will be the second generation in our family, to enjoy "Goodnight Moon."

this is a magical book, comforting the anxious child who sees monsters where the mittens are drying. I have read it many times and given it many times. New parents are amazed how much their children love it.
