Overview
One of the few greatest-hits titles to make total sense selection-wise, Greatest Hits -- released in 1996 by Capitol subsidiary The Right Stuff -- compiles the first 15 charting Skyy singles, covering the group's years on Salsoul, in addition to the group's one album for Capitol (1986's From the Left Side). This is as straightforward as it gets, and since the bulk of Skyy's album cuts aren't essential for casual fans, it's a close-to-ideal introduction. (It's not quite perfect since the later albums generated a handful of major singles as well.) All fans of electrified disco should be left satisfied.
