CHAPTER 1

JANUARY

HELLO, New Year! Once the (potential) hangover has passed and the Christmas decorations are down, there lies a whole year ahead of us. This can be very exciting yet totally daunting. How might we change things from last year? What do we want the next 12 months to look like? It's all up for grabs. January is the perfect time for starting over. The drama and thrill of December are over, so perhaps we all feel a bit more peaceful and subdued. We can plot, think and plan to make things happen and manifest our dreams. I usually start my year with a cosmic order list, where I state what I will see happening in the next 12 months. I don't write the list as wishes. I write it like it WILL happen. This is not a flash of sweeping arrogance or even expectation; it's more about clearly visualizing the dreams I have and putting them out there into the universe. I know that they may not all come to fruition, and I'm acutely aware that life doesn't always pan out how you want it to, but I believe starting your year with a positive mindset and clear head is a good way to make things happen. January is all about moving forward and newness. Focus on that feeling of new, of opportunity and excitement, and see where it takes you. Hello, January ... let's do this.

1 JANUARY

Time for that cosmic order list. Write out your wish list for the year ahead not as wishes, but as if each one WILL happen. Let's start the year in a positive way.

Enjoy the journey, and remember to enjoy the now!

CHAPTER 2

FEBRUARY

February. You either love it or hate it for a couple of reasons. The newness and hope of the new year have faded somewhat, which may relieve you or make you feel lethargic. We also have Valentine's Day in the cards, which will either be a fantastic reason to tell everyone in your circle you love them, or make you feel like crap. There is little gray area with this month. It's all or nothing. So how do you wanna play it? We can fall off the wagon completely and surrender to February's dull skies, or we can reboot and try again.

As far as Valentine's goes, I have always liked to use it as an excuse to go heavy on the LOVE, even when I've been single and feeling miserable about it. I have always sent my group of best friends cards, sent gooey texts to those I love and taken a moment to love myself. That is the hardest one for sure. Self-love is tricky and always sounds odd, but my God, it's important. We have to start by loving or at least accepting ourselves with all of our quirks and oddities before we can fully love another peacefully. Use this month to focus on that love that is all around you, even if you can't see it right now. Love others, and love yourself. Love makes the world go round.

1 FEBRUARY

Welcome to the month of love. What do you love the most?

2 FEBRUARY

How do you feel when you are in love?

3 FEBRUARY

Who do you love in life, and whom are you grateful for?

_____________________________________________________________________

_____________________________________________________________________

_____________________________________________________________________

4 FEBRUARY

How much do you think you love yourself right now? Sometimes this can be the hardest challenge to crack. Self-love can be complicated.

_____________________________________________________________________

_____________________________________________________________________

_____________________________________________________________________

5 FEBRUARY

Doodle. What does love look like to you?

_____________________________________________________________________

_____________________________________________________________________

_____________________________________________________________________

6 FEBRUARY

WHAT do you love about yourself? It can be hard to admit that we enjoy parts of ourselves. Reject the misplaced idea that this is an ego-based exercise or makes you big-headed — it's actually one of the healthiest things you can do. When you are aware of what your strengths are and what parts of yourself you love, others will notice them much more vividly too.

_____________________________________________________________________

_____________________________________________________________________

_____________________________________________________________________

7 FEBRUARY

Have a day of self-love. Be kind to yourself. Let yourself off the hook and treat yourself.

I was excited to read this book because it reflected implementation of positive and happy thoughts in your everyday life. I also love that there is a positive quote after everyday of the week to get your mind set on a positive outlook right before you journal. Also I love how the pages were designed with bright pastel colors. It reminds you of a bright beautiful sunny day and there is nothing more positive than that. That is why we give this book 5 stars.
