This little picture book is all about unconditional love. The little dog in the story makes all sorts of mistakes such as taking the best seat, inviting over his friends, making messes and not always thinking before he acts, but his owner, the little girl, is always happy to see him. It shows that when we love someone, we can forgive their mistakes and be happy to spend time with them and love them. As the description says, this would be a great book to read with your children when they will be going to school or daycare for the first time and be worried that you will forget about them when they are gone. It is also a good book to read when your child makes a mistake and even if there is a consequence, you still love them. The illustrations are simple but very cute and appealing. A great book for all family libraries to share with their little ones. I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
