This collection of writings and commentary on Einstein's work and ideas is very informative and complete; a wonderful read for anyone looking for a deep insight into the mind of one of the smartest people of out time. It ranges from Einstein's opinions on education, government, and human rights, to his very famous theory of relativity and other scientific findings. The book also goes into some detail about the brilliant scientists that came before him such as Lorentz and Planck, as well as how they influenced him and how he learned and expanded on their findings. If science is not your thing, the book is full of discussion about some of the important issues our world faces, from the religious conflict in the Middle East, to the struggle for human rights around the world. There truly is something for everyone in this book. Any person with a desire to learn more about modern physics, scientific theories, or even just to learn about this philosophical genius that changed the world forever should definitely check this out.

I am a high school student sophomore and I had to read this book for a research project in my English class.i personally did not like this book because It was very hard to understand with how Albert Einstein wrote this book. I wish that it was more simpler so the average person and not scientist could understand his point so views on all subjects written about in the book. This book was very lengthy and overall took me a long time to read and find the answers I needed while e trying to comprehend what Einstein was writing about. This book covered many topics, it covered almost all the the answers I needed for my project but again it was hard to understand and comprehend. Einsteins writes and gives us the readers his opinions, thought s and views on all subjects from his life. I would recommend this book to someone who could understand and comprehend his way of writing because this book is written by Einstein his self, but I would not recommend this to another student or teen

This book is very lengthy but overall I thought the it was really good. If you're not interested in math or science I would not recommend this book. If you do like math and science however, I would highly recommend this book because it's very interesting. The book is very informative about Albert Einstein’s thoughts and ideas. The book goes into detail about how Einstein invented his work like his famous equation E=mc^2. Einstein also gives his opinions and ideas about religion, education, and science. It’s a fascinating book to learn information that you never knew. I especially really liked this book because Albert Einstein wrote this book himself. If you want to know more about modern science and scientific theories than this is the book for you.
