I am sure that you have seen the bumper stickers, I brake for garage sales. Many people enjoy going to garage sales, and they are a great way to find secondhand items at a fraction of the cost to buy it new. I dont go to garage sales, though. I go to estate sales. This book will tell you why.

It will also tell you how to:
* Find and get to estate sales where you'll find what you're looking for.
* Make the most of your time at estate sales.
* How to get the best prices at estate sales.
* Sell what you've purchased at estate sales

Most importantly, though, it will help you have more fun going to estate sales.

About the Author

What makes Mike Romanchik an authority on estate sales? Well, for one thing, he goes to a lot of estate salesanywhere from six to ten estates sales each weekend for the last three years. He also loves the thrill of the hunt. Its a new treasure hunt each week.
If Mike has an expertise when it comes to buying certain items as sales, it would have to be sport cards. He has been a collector of sports cards since he was seven years old and still has those cards today. More than that, though, Mike educates himself about anything that catches his eye, using Internet searches to research items for sale.
Mike also uses what he learned while getting his Business degree from Wayne State University in Detroit to help him make valuations on items he is interested in.Its usually a matter of supply and demand. If more people want that item or there isnt a lot of that item around, it will be more valuable.
Being a financial analyst by profession (yawn), Mike uses his estate sale hunting as a form of entertainment. Dont knock it until you have tried it. There is nothing like getting a great deal on something that would cost you five times the price if new, an interesting collectible, or something that reminds you of your childhood.
