This book comparable to Richard Paul Evans "Michael Vey" series but in addition teaches about the elements which would be of value to any teenager intending to take chemistry. Totally enjoyable, well written and an adventure.

Explosions, chemistry, and psychopaths—what's not to love? This is one of the most exciting young adult novels I've read in months. I thoroughly enjoyed the first book in the series and Itch Rocks did not disappoint. Itch's secret is not as safe as he'd hoped, and things start to unravel quickly. Events turn deadly and once again, it's up to Itch to save the world. This is such a fun adventure. I love that there is nothing else like it on the bookstore shelves right now. Most young adult novels fit into a predictable mold, but the Itch books are a breath of fresh air to the stagnant YA category. This series is perfect for anyone that likes explosions, chemistry, or new adventures. Content: Very clean, but there is some violence and a couple (about 2 or 3) curse words. Source: I requested a copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.
