About the Author

CLIVE CUSSLER is the author of more than seventy books in five bestselling series, including Dirk Pitt, NUMA Files, Oregon Files, Isaac Bell, and Sam and Remi Fargo. His life nearly parallels that of his hero Dirk Pitt. Whether searching for lost aircraft or leading expeditions to find famous shipwrecks, he and his NUMA crew of volunteers have discovered and surveyed more than seventy-five lost ships of historic significance, including the long-lost Confederate submarine Hunley, which was raised in 2000 with much publicity. Like Pitt, Cussler collects classic automobiles. His collection features more than one hundred examples of custom coachwork. Cussler and his wife make their home in Arizona.

GRAHAM BROWN is the author of Black Rain and Black Sun, and the coauthor with Cussler of Devil's Gate, The Storm,Zero Hour, Ghost Ship, The Pharaoh's Secret, Nighthawk, The Rising Sea, and Sea of Greed. A pilot and an attorney, he lives near Nashville.

As always, a great book. Unfortunately, this is one of the three last books by Cussler. May he rest in peace.

Another fast paced read from Clive Cussler and Graham Brown. Full of historical information from the 1900's. A host of familiar NUMA characters provide us with plenty of action and adventure. Can't wait for the next story.

Totally predictable especially if you had read any if Cusslers books. Mostly unbelievable story line. I've always enjoyed reading his books but this one was by far my least favorite and I've read them all.

As usual a great rollicking take of adventure and buried treasure. Love the descriptions of nature. Thank you.
